Can I change my user name

Yeah, I know -- you're not supposed to change your user name after you've got more than 1000 posts. Be that as it may, I'm a little tired of having my full name be my user name. I'd like to just be JasonF, if that's OK. I'd be happy to add something to my sig for a reaosnable transition period ("The poster formerly known as JasonFliegel," or something similar) so people know I'm the same guy I used to be.

Mods, do your thing (please)!

While you're at it mods, feel like changing Mopower's name to Stig Skaar? He expressed his extreme fondness for the name in this thread:

http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...96#post4579204

Mopower also apparently agrees with the name change motion set forth by talemyn.

rather than letting him select his new name

you should let us all make suggestions and then vote on it

While we are at it - can we change the "hist" in my username to "Baracus"? It's much more fitting. I'm just like Mr. T's character, but white - w/ the same bad attitude.

Or just shorten it to "B.A.".

But if you make a poll, you have to include "twikoff" as an option. What if that wins? I'm pretty sure there's already somebody with that user name.

He asks for a name change in my name change thread and gets it, while meanwhile, I get to be DickTrickle for a day and then go back to my original name? Who do I have to <s>fu</s>bribe around here to get a name change?

I emailed Randy last night and asked him to shorten it to just "B.A." and he did. I didn't think anyone saw this thread, but now I arrive at work and the "Baracus" has been added, too.

Jason - email Randy through the forum and I am sure he would shorten your name (it's not as if it is a complete name change). It doesn't look like there is a JasonF on the member list, so I doubt he would have a problem w/ that.

I'm not getting involved in this discussion. I'm still traumatized from the last change. (Can I have "Bandoman" back now?)

Didn't you just get your username changed from bahist17 about 6 months ago?
