Smilie Proposal

talemyn used a great smilie in this thread.

I'd like to propose it be adopted as a forum smilie, perhaps invoked as :troll: I think we're really going to need it with the political season upon us.

Cool, but would likely just start fights.

The report this post to a moderator link is better used in thread in which that smilie would be appropriate.

It not only flags a troll, but it reminds us all of a highly effective course of action in dealing with the problem. If we didn't all post in troll threads, there would be minimal satisfaction in creating them. It also allows the author a chance to defend himself and attempt to explain why it isn't a troll.

I think it serves as a caution flag. We can all think about whether we agree it is a troll and whether there is really a point in responding.

Or, we can all rush in to see who can post this image first.

That's for the mods to decide, not for us to agree on. I try to never respond to what I think is a troll, and just report it to the mod's and let them deal with it.
