Well, it's better than his usual slogan:

"Bandoman - Is it in yet? "

i say make it non "modded" well except in the case of spam, if those who choose to read this subform get insulted it's their problem (get over it kvrdave)in others words, it's a free game in there.

Really bad idea IMO. Since those feeling would spill over into other forums. Plus with the trolls that seem to come out just for political threads the odds of things getting out of hand is a bit higher than in normal threads.

I would make it a mod zone if you feel the need to setup a temp forum.

Yep, and it would have to be "more" modded that the other forum. There would really need to be a group of mods large enough so that there was generally someone around all the time that the forum is busy, who can keep any eye on threads as best as possible and respond quickly to reported posts.

Premature? You mean there's the remote possibility that Bando could mod up?

I mean, I like him and all that, but...

...God help us.

Okay, screw the politics subforum. Isn't it time for a Janet Jackson's Breast subforum?

Holy shit. Didn't expect to see that 'poster' of here. I don't care though... it got one "." (maybe)

And GCribbs....you can't be serious. Of all the pictures I've ever posted here that has to be one of the worst. It's intentionally that way though to do the Nixon joke. But thanks for humoring me!

As for me being a mod, I think that's a nice idea. I'm definetly more qualified than Bandoman considering I've never crashed a forum. Nor have I ever got piss drunk, dressed in pink lace, and sang 'MacArthur's Park" at a Shriner's Convention. Bandoman likes Diana Ross. I have never had unnatural sexual relations with a Transvestite hooker. And I have absolutely never sold Cocaine to preschool children. I'm not claiming Bandoman has done these things....I'm just sayin'....

But, I am not in contention for modship here. Personally, I hate all the mean-spirited mudslinging that goes on with politics.

Adding a Political Forum can only be a positive upgrade.

No matter what, this year people are going to post a shitload of political threads. They're going to have to be monitored. Might as well put them all in one section so moderators who are better at handling those threads can deal with problems in one felt swoop.
Plus it's easier for the members who either hate or love politics. You can completely avoid those threads or all those discussions are at your convenience

I see no downside to it. It's beneficial to the administrators and members. It's also another place to put more ads up.

I'm not ashamed of my past!

BTW, I too think a political sub-forum is a great idea, at least until after the Presidential annointing....er, I mean "election".

You've got to be kidding. Can't even engage in a spirited discussion about JJ's boob without a lot of liberal/conservative bashing.

I hear Bando looks good in pink lace.

I'm gonna delete my dupe thread in here about this.

Anyway, another vote for Poitics Forum.
