Question about the DVDTalk rules
I was reading this in the rules:
We at DVD Talk reserve the right to revoke your membership to the DVD Talk forum or disable your posting ability for any or no reason whatsoever.
Why would you do that for no reason whatsoever?

This is in there to avoid semantical arguments with users who break the rules and want to argue the subtlties till the cows come home. We can simply default to that statement and move on.
I think it also makes it clear that membership is not a god given right and it can be revoked at any time. This can be eye opening to some of the more abusive members who get banned and somehow think that membership to the forum is something they are entitiled to just for typing in dvdtalk.com
