"new thread" button not showing up!!

Well, I'm at work now and it does here...but at home for some reason, the NEW THREAD button doesn't show up for me.

Any ideas?

Have you read the section on "Missing Buttons" in the FAQ?

How did you start this thread without the button? It's a paradox...the universe is imploding in on itself...argggggggggh.

my parents computer has this same problem. I just push buttons randomly in the area the button is supposed to be, and eventually I find it.

At work they have some kinda security (and "adult site" blocking) that removes all of the buttons. The links (report this post, etc.) are still there, and I can reply using quick reply. But if I want to do something fancy, I've got to make sure I do it right the first time, 'cause I don't have the edit or delete post buttons.

Sounds like my strategy in the back seat during high school.
