Question About Personal attacks.
If someone personally attacks you over a DVD Talk discussion, but does so via e-mail and so OUTSIDE of DVD Talk, can anything be done about it?
I just ask because I've gotten a nasty one from James "johndoe8
" Peters, after an argument in a DVD Talk thread. Also, Danol seems to think I'm out to get him, but it's really hard to take those e-mails seriously. Hey, it's hard to read them.
I don't want to hide my e-mail, though. I use it for trades and to receive e-mail from the friends I've made here at DVD Talk.
Should I just ignore them, or what?

Don't post the thread or the e-mails here... instead, forward them to an admin, and we'll see what we can do. Personally, I think that people using e-mail to harrass people is worse than doing it on forum.
A good rule of thumb whenever anyone has a problem with another member's actions is to e-mail a mod, instead of posting the grievances on the forum.
