i started a friendly thread here and it got locked...don't know why

Did you take the time to read the Forum Rules?

Sometimes a mod or admin will lock a thread when they believe there is nothing of value left to say. Since this was a thread where you just wanted to say "hi"... and since you did, in fact, say "hi"... that would seem to pretty much wrap things up.

Anyway, welcome to the forum! (And yeah... that alternating cApS stuff... yeah, that's gotta go... ;))

From where; from what place: Whence came this traveler?
From what origin or source: Whence comes this splendid feast?

So then wouldn't you say "A black hole whence you may never return"?

Where are the rules for Other? That should be a sticky.

rule #74. Anything sentence containing both of the words "Other" and "sticky" are not allowed.

There used to be a rule that stated you couldn't sue me regardless of any NEWS FLASH!!!es you provided. Not sure if that's still a rule, but it should be. :)
