I'm sure a lot of people visit different forums on different topics. Myself, I don't have that much time, but when I do I visit the forums at the websites of my favorite bands. The forum at RobHalford.com has become one of the sorriest forums I've been to. It's just filled with idiots. The moderators and administrators seem to be at war with the members to maintain order.

Experiences like that and the general chaos (ok, controlled chaos, but chaos nonetheless) at other forums really makes me appreciate being a DVDTalk member. I love this site. I love the forum. I love the mods and admin for keeping it orderly and civil. I rarely see personal attacks, or inappropriate behavior. When I do, it's handled quickly and effectively.

Do we quarrel? Yes. Do I always agree with the mods? No. Do some folks make me want to slap them? Of course. I'm just glad there's a place to discuss our many interests without having to dumb ourselves down for others. So a big thank you to Geoff and the mods. Keep up the good work.
