I''m Tired of Being a Member
I started off as a New Member -- and so I was.
Then I became a Cool New Member -- and, hey, man, I was! Good call! I felt like this was an honorific.
Now I am just a Member. That sucks. Boring, boring, boring...
Senior Member is at 250 posts, and I am at 130 posts. I will never get to 250. And the dream of being at the level of DVDTalk Special Edition is just that -- 1,000 posts is a lifetime away.
Gloom, gloom.

Hey, is there some Admin tool that can automatically bump up my status to "Senior Member?" Or maybe just give me a different title than "Member"... I was thinking something along the lines of, say, "Dude".

My question is...how exactly does a Moderator go about becoming a Super Moderator? Do they have a Clark Kent/Superman-type dynamic where they are mild-mannered Moderator until something big happens, then they have to change into Super Moderator? And do they get outfits with that title as well?
Just wondering

I would like a new name. I have been here since 99. Come on Mods something cool like I love the Lakers even after tonights loss to the Spurs.

So just an update -- I did finally get enough posts to make it to the rank of Senior Member.
I actually just created 249 new threads about maple syrup and Sylvester Stallone, but I'm glad to finally be rid of that hideous plain ol' "member" status.
Now I think I'll start stumping every forum like BigDaddy, looking for my own custom handle...
