What does 'subscribe to this forum' do?

I was hoping that it would send me an email notification of every new thread in that forum, but it doesn't.

I did a search and also looked at the FAQ and found no answers.

You mean you don't already get Otter: The Magazine in your mailbox every month? Too bad, you've already missed the swimsuit issue for this year.

Maybe someone will be nice and post some scans of the pictorial. 3DD was hot, hot, hot in that two-piece banana-yellow thong.

Have you ever seen the movie "The Game".

Let's just say if you sign up... be ready for a wild ride.

I signed up like 24 hours ago and nothing has happened. Except all my questions get cryptic answers now

Is there going to be an answer to this?

If you subscribe to a forum in vBulletin 3, you can get a single email digest of all new threads in it instead of an individual email for every thread.

In vBulletin 2.X, it is simply an incomplete feature.
DVDTalk is still using ver. 2.x, so it does...nothing.

So when is the upgrade?? And while we're at it, I'm still holding my breath for the dancing banana guy smiley...

That feature of the upgrade sounds great.

I would love an email of every new thread title of forums I 'subscribe' to.
