DVDTalk is loading slow or not at all again. Any help?

Ok, so last night I did a weekly run of AdAware and Spybot to clean out any spyware. It ran fine as usual, cleaning out about a dozen cookies and the like. The computer ran fine for the rest of the night.

When I turned on the computer and tried to visit this site today, It wouldn't load at all. I tried again later and it loaded, but very, very slowly. (took about 20 seconds or more when it usually takes 1-2)

I don't have any idea what's going on, but I guess it's a problem with my machine. Any help is appreciated.

I'm running Win XP home and IE 6.0.

Thanks,

jw

It isn't your problem. The site is off-and-on very slow.

Seems to be server side since the ping speed is normal. For me that Thirst banner loads and that's all I see for 30 seconds and I get all freaked out.

You can hit the stop button and the rest of the page should load while we wait for the fix.

Yep... I'm having trouble too!

Seems to happen more often with that scary ad with the teeth!

[edited to add: That, and the several minutes of '502 timeout errors' that I got while trying to post this. ]
