We *do* indeed sanitize reality to that extent. There are many things that are "reality"... but we don't have to show them here. It's not like any images like this are hard to find.

The point I keep trying to make is, that it does not have to come from DVDtalk. The poster above me indicated that if DVDtalk does not display the pics, it was all for naught. And I don't think we are the internet portal for the world. Maybe a few Others.

There are other reasons to not show the images.

One being that many users do not want to see them and trust that they can browse these forums without having to worry about that. It's just about impossible to be consistent here, but we have an understanding with our users that they can expect certain rules and content.

Second, it may not go over well with advertisers.

Third, it would be hard to say that it was okay to show graphic gore for one thing, when someone else with a different agenda wants to display more pics (such as someone in an abortion thread).

Ya know...it's been an ongoing debate in this thread about posting pics/links..while stuff like THIS & THIS are being posted!! No warning, no disclaimers, no nothing!

You guys keep this up and i'm gonna start frequenting the al Jazeera forums..where the truth is!
