Does this site get credit for using the links at the top of the page? I was wondering what links I should use to help make this site some money. For example, If I use the link for amazon at the top when making a purchase will the site receive credit or advertising money or do I need to use the amazon link in the share the love forum?

It looks like both Amazon links redirect to the same or similar pages. Either should be fine.
