Hi GuessWho!!

Just when you thought Other was a sanctuary....

I think these threads are now intentionally becoming a problem in the DVD Talk forum.

Most are started by new members just trying to get their post count up... maybe...

Your thoughts?

I think my enjoyment of the Anna Nicole show would be greater if I were blind. And deaf...

Of course... I partially blame you for the increase in the blind buy threads!

It is obvious that somebody is trying to boost his post count in this thread.

Don't look at me, I don't know where to put all these post counts now that I do have them

on the subject of Blind buys.. I know I should just ignore them but it is really a big problem when half of the threads on the front page are just "I'm a moron who can't decide what I would like, is _____ a good blind buy" and I would understand if they were asking about the disc or the extras. but if you are asking just about the movie, it should go in the movie forum or the reviews forum.

Good point Jack.

These threads have no place in DVD talk 99% of the time as they are asking about movies.

They are pretty pointless to. Just rent the damn movie if you're unsure about it. Random internet people's opinions on the movie really aren't going to make any movie a good blind buy for you.

No blind buy is ever going to be a sure thing, it's always a risk. Either take it or rent the damn movie and leave us alone.

Closing in favor of the other Blind Buy thread.
