Need Help Posting Pic From Yahoo Briefcase

I recently upgraded to PacBell SBC Yahoo DSL and have tried posting pics from Yahoo briefcase by cutting and pasting the pic's address sandwiched between the [img], but unsuccessfully. For example:

I used to use CuteFTP with my old ISP, but I called Pac Bell and 3 different reps couldn't help me stay with this program, and suggested Yahoo briefcase instead.

Please help.

You can't post pictures directly from Yahoo Briefcase.

You can, however, use the free web space that came with your SBC account.

You can access it by going to:
http://home.[your email domain] aka, my email is [email protected] , the domain is swbell.net, so you would go to home.swbell.net
and your home page would be: home.swbell.net/xxxxx

There should be directions for accessing your site and uploading pictures, etc. THen you can link directly to the picture on your web site.

The free web space I was given for my SBC account is the Yahoo briefcase.

I'm unfamiliar with Yahoo Briefcase, but it apparently doesn't allow remote linking. Perhaps there's an option somewhere in your account that will enable that.

In the meantime, try http://www.theforumisdown.com/

They don't let you link from images you upload there either.

I'm in the same boat as Jack Straw. Recently got Yahoo DSL, but the only space they give you is the briefcase. If you want web space, they refer you over to Geocities. Can you link pics from there?

Not really. You can link to them, but not as an img link (hot link) and people have to use a space after the url to see the pic if they click on the link.
