Minor quibble about the DVDTalk main forum.
I've got just the smallest of complaints here. This thread here link
is about VHS tapes, and them being in OAR, and it was moved from DVDTalk to Other.
Now I realize this is "DVD"Talk, but judging from the number of people in that thread that still have VHS, plus the several members that still have LaserDisc (myself included), could the description of the main DVD forum be expanded to include all movie software (LD, VHS, CED, etc) like a certain other home theater type forum has? There really aren't that many of us, and I was actually going to post a question about an LD boxset until I saw that thread moved. Can I still post it there in the main, or should I use Other?, which really doesn't seem right.
Just wondering, thanks

I've been leaving LD threads in Main, because they're at least optical media like DVDs, and they share a lot more similarities to DVDs than VHS tapes do. I figured a line should be drawn somewhere, but there's no hard and fast rule set up right now. I'm interested in seeing what everyone else thinks.

That's cool, but VHS has a long and deep reaching legacy. OAR is available for many titles, and then there's the little matter of the two holy trilogies not being on DVD, and LD isn't an option for most folks. Maybe just one thread? A OAR VHS appreciation thread
cheers
