Search function question

Was trying to search the Computer forum for a question regarding modems in Windows XP, and I got this message:

The search term you specified (xp) is under the minimum word length (3) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.
I can understand why this would generally be a problem, because if you search for "at" or "an" (or "or") you would get every post in the forum back. Is there any way this can be changed to accommodate XP, though? Since XP is the current version of windows, it's kind of useless not being able to search for information on it.

Thanks.

Have you tried searching for *xp* (with the asterisks)? That may work... not sure.
