Q for mods about closed thread
A while back (06-23-02) I posted a thread regarding wanting to buy a specific region 0 DVD. The thread was closed and now I'm unsure as to why. The reason that I'm now posting this question is because I noticed that there is an ad / link on the front page of this site to a DVD player from Malata that says: Hot Deal on Region Free DVD Player. "The Malata DVP-520 will let you play DVDs from any region and will convert PAL DVDs for NTSC TVs."
Now, if I can't request info on the purchase a region 0 DVD (not available locally), then why is the site allowing an ad for a DVD player that is capable of playing the very DVD that I would like to have???
This is not a slam @ the mods, nor am I trying to start a flame-out! I am just curious as to why my original thread was closed.
Sincerely,
Sonicflood
