Do the forums log you out if you don't stay in them?
I'm asking 'cuz I closed my browser approx. 10 min ago and now I have to login to post. Do the cookies expire or something? How do I make it so they don't, since this is a home PC?

Near the upper right of almost any forum page, there's a row of buttons. The first one is User CP, which stands for Control Panel.
Click on that and then the Edit Options link that will come up. The first section of the page that link takes you to is called "Login, Cookies & Privacy." The second and third options need to be selected as yes.
If that still doesn't work, I created a FAQ thread for this forum. In there is a section that deals with cookie and log in/out problems. Follow those directions to clear your cookies, close and restart your browser and then try resetting your cookie options in your User CP's Edit Options section again.
Hope that works.

FWIW, I find that every so often I'll have to log in though I haven't logged myself out and haven't cleared my cookies. I'll log back in and it'll work for a while then log me out again.
