hello back to you

GeoffK 05-29-02 07:25 PM

This should make responding to threads faster and easier.

X 05-29-02 07:27 PM

That was quick! :)

OldDude 05-29-02 07:28 PM

But are you sure you want us responding faster and easier? ($$). Neat feature, though, I like it.

crankyman 05-29-02 07:28 PM

seems to work great.

it actually cuts down on a little bit of bandwidth.

one page browse x thousands of posts = bandwidth savings.

of course, now he'll have to do away with the post count.

cranky.

twikoff 05-29-02 07:30 PM

 I like it.. should save time and bandwidth

X 05-29-02 07:30 PM

On each submit I get a browser error of:

A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?

Line: 857
Error: Object expected

Yes No

But it works when I answer No. Perhaps this is because I don't normally run ActiveX controls?

X 05-29-02 07:34 PM

Let's try this.

Cool Kitten 05-29-02 07:34 PM

i didn't have any problems with it.

X 05-29-02 07:34 PM

And this

WhoGirl 05-29-02 07:34 PM

I like! :)

X 05-29-02 07:35 PM

Seems to be working ok now. I restarted my browser.

X 05-29-02 07:36 PM

asdf

Seems fine now, must have been on my end.

X 05-29-02 07:37 PM

No, the last one gave me the error.

CaptainMarvel 05-29-02 07:37 PM

Neat! I guess it works.

X 05-29-02 07:37 PM

asdf

X 05-29-02 07:38 PM

asdfweee

zOOmz 05-29-02 07:38 PM

Is this the quick pad?

:p

GeoffK 05-29-02 07:39 PM

must be some sort of bug in the code X.... Will take a look see

X 05-29-02 07:40 PM

It looks like the security setting of "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" has to be Enabled or set to Prompt (although it never prompts) for this to not give an error. When I set it to Disabled (my normal security setting) it gives the error.

GeoffK 05-29-02 07:44 PM

Ah I think I fixed it. There was some javascript code on the from submit. Removed that.... So it should work now for you.

Does it?

Jules Winfield 05-29-02 07:44 PM

Boo.
