My sig is doing something odd

I am trying to put a link to my contest thread within my signature using the following code (taking out end brackets):

URL=http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=208146]Guess my employment, win some cash[/URL

It works on one post in the thread referred to, but I can't see it anywhere else. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, I see it here to. Shouldn't it go to all my posts, though, or just for posts I make after the change?

Such as this one: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=207601

You have an option when you post as to whether you want your sig to show. You can also make that a default in your profile.

I guess it was automatically on "no" before, because I didn't have a sig. I went back to edit an old post and allow the sig, and it did. Question answered.....thank you!
