The categories are making it very easy to keep up with what's going on. I can jump from DVD, music, other, and sports in five minutes and get caught up. No more squinting my eyes sifting through the poo stories.

I dissent. Sports forum is fine, but I miss out on things that are not really mature that are now relegated to the mature forum.

Such as? I haven't seen anything go in there that wasn't truly mature.

One complaint I saw was for stuff like non-nude content like that webcam girl thing. I never really followed the thread, but I suppose one could post about it and watch it at work. With the adult-oriented ads, the forum is pretty much off-limits at most working locations, I'd guess.

Not an issue for me, but maybe for some.

If you look over the threads in mature, I don't see anything that should not be in there.

As far as the German DJ thread, it's probably the most "R" rated, or PG-13 even. Still, a lot of the content in that thread is of a mature nature. We made the decision that certain threads do belong in Mature, even if they are not that potentially offensive. Yes, this means that some people can not view them at work.

Some of those threads were a large part of the bandwidth load on Other. Specially during the normal business hours in USA. A benefit of moving them to Mature was to spread the load somewhat.

I can't really agree or disagree with you since I can't venture in there.

I still can't see a problem with putting nudity and mature dialougue in the mature and non-nudity and PG-13 dialougue in the other. It seems pretty simple to me. Posting a non-nude picture of a girl and saying she is hot or beautiful is not what I call mature. If bandwidth was the real reason behind this, you should have just said that to begin with.

I also still do not understand the previous complaints about the presence of certain threads it the other. Just don't click on them. Be your own censor.

I think putting all ogling threads in one place makes perfect sense.
