I didn't see any thread. Why was it deleted?

It must have been a huge no-no. It was closed, and when I clicked on it anyway, it said I was not authorized. Then it disappeared.

I suspect it looked too much like a parody thread.

Just cause a thread looks like a parody thread doesn't mean it doesn't have meaningful content that shouldn't be deleted.

While it may have an an attention-grabbing title, the content within was a genuine discussion starter."Don't judge a book by its cover" -- remember that?

Poor parody threads are just trying to get a rise from the title and usually have nothing but a smiley inside. The thread in question here, as I said, had genuine points for discussion.

...as if 4 "important Superman threads" couldn't be combined if you're all so worried about a clutter-free forum.

I tried to spare you the embarrassment of a particularly lame parroty thread being closed but left for people to see. Since you must be using these as some kind of measure of something unfathomable I will be happy to move it back, still closed, for everyone to see. And next time take this to email.
