Losing posts
ok, so apparently, i've somehow lost posts(i.e. my post count decreased). Is this normal? Normally, i wouldn't notice, but i was taking some screen shots of RandyC's handywork.
the first pic was taken before the second one.

Have you considered that perhaps the quantity of your posts is just a little too important to you?

anyways, back on topic, this is the first screenshot i took yesterday, right after my name was changed. then comes the other two, which were in my first post. the second one in the first post was taken after i made one post, right after my name change. i just find it peculiar that i reverted to the exact same amount of posts after both name changes. yes, it is possible, and probably likely that some of my posts were deleted by a mod or what not, but it just seems very coincidental.

Simple explanation.
I open the administrator control panel for you. It has the post count and your name. I change the name, then go back to your account.
I leave the panel open so I can revert the name back to what it was. I hit submit.
For most people, the difference between the two times as far as post counts would be minor or nothing. In your case, a couple hours go by and you should have 200 more posts.
Nobody deleted your post counts, but unintentionally you took one for the team.

thanks RandyC...i was just curious...i know that no one would delete some of my posts intentionally (unless they were uncalled for). I don't really care that much about post count (although you might not believe it). I'm sure i could raise it much faster if i wanted to. I just thought that it was an interesting phenomena. Like usual, i'm sure i overanalized the situation.

RandyC, you're on the right track, but I think you got to work so that for every time DPhlegm posts, he loses 50 posts.
