Methods of posting images?
How many ways are there to post images to the forum?
I read the faq and it states that you can post attachments by using the "browse" button at the bottom of the post composition page to locate where your images are stored.
Yet I never see a browse button, but I do see a statement indicating that "you may not post attachments".
I have successfully posted images by clicking the img box and entering a url of the image.
Is this currently the only way to post images to the forum?
I may be interested in posting multiple images on one post at some point, and my url locations are single pic only.
I could post multiples by attaching though I would think.
I also did do a search for this question first before posting here, but could get nothing on that topic.
Thanks for any help.

Almost forgot.
I'm hoping this is the proper forum to post a question like this.
I could not find a "contact us" type of link to ask a moderator.

You cannot attach pics from your home computer to the forum boards.
You can link to pictures hosted elsewhere using the button-clicking method you have already employed or by using the <A HREF="http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/misc.php?s=&action=bbcode" target="_blank">board code</a>: this would also allow multiple links/pics along the lines you have indicated you wished to post.
You can also use HTML in the body of a message (but not in a sig where the "img" code won't work either).
FYI: if you want to post text without quoting the previous post in full you can click the <IMG SRC="http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/images/reply.gif" ALT="post reply"> button or simply delete all the quoted text if you have used the <IMG SRC="http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/images/quote.gif" ALT="quote"> button.

Althought the forum does have the capability to do attachments we've disabled it. for a myriad of reasons.
to post an image on the site you'll need to 'host' it somewhere else and then do an 'img src=' tag to link to it here.

Thanks benedict and Geoff for your info.
I'll have to try the method described using html, which I've previously disabled for use in Usenet NG's.
A suggestion though would be to possibly update the faq to reflect the situation with attachments.
I can imagine this being confusing to others as well.

Also, I'd say be careful where you link from for pictures. It's kind of an internet faux pas to link to another site's pictures instead of hosting it yourself if it's going to get a lot of views. You end up using their bandwidth which costs them money and time.
