Suggestion for top-icons
I'd like to see the "titles" of the four icons that run across the top of most pages be made into links to pages full of the entire list of such icons.
I, and I am sure many others, ignore those icons and read the content below them (I suppose it helps that I have a rotated monitor that runs 1024x1600 so I don't have to scroll down too much) and only glance at the icons themselves after clicking a link and waiting for the new page to start loading.
But, if you see something interesting in the icons during the "dead time" before the new page loads, chances are that hitting "back" to return to the original page won't get you the same icons because the pages are not cached and new icons rotate in on each new page load.
So, if the title of each icon were a link to a page were all icons of that type were displayed it would make it much easier to find and click-through on icon that was interesting. As it is now, I don't bother any more unless the icon was overwhelmingly intriguing (happened once in the last 6 months).
For the revenue generating links you would probably increae click-through by doing such a thing.
