This thread is very useful and has great potential as it grows IMO.
Is it possible that the moderators might be willing to keep it as a permanent
thread at the top of the forum to prevent it from being buried in the future?

It's certainly possible, and that is a great thread. I was just cursoring down to the bottom of the thread and it looks very impressive.
The thing is you guys already have 4 threads stuck to the top of your forum. Some people think it starts to look a little too crowded if you have too many stuck threads.
I'll go ahead and stick it, but if the members and/or benedict think it's too much, you all might want to think about either consolidating something, or letting another thread go off the stuck set.
