Some Other ads are too big

I know, bitch bitch bitch.

I noticed that the ad on the right is sometimes oversized, off the side of my 800 x 600 screen.

Is this another "didn't know about that" like the flashing green VW ad?

[Going back to Otter, now. Sorry for the interruption...]

This ad?

Yeah, it is a bit too big. But, I'm not gonna complain. At least it's not as bad as those flashing banner ads.

WhoGirl, different ad, same size.

Not really complaining, it just seems out of the ordinary. I usually see the scroll bar on the bottom only when somebody posts a large pic, and I thought it was kinda strange to see it on the thread list page.

I totally understand why Otters are being <s>abused</s> <s>picked on</s> <s>subjected to</s> allowed exclusive rights to these extra special offers. But, like the audience for whom they are intended, sometimes you gotta keep an eye on them.

As with everything we're 'testing' out some of those bigger ad sizes. Since Other consumes a HUGE amount of bandwith and we need to do everything we can to get it to fund itself.

no complaints here.. whatever it takes to keep other up

if you want to run a marquee right through the middle of the page that says "EAT AT JOES".. we will all understand

I dunno, Geoff. That one is really hard to see from across the room. Can you enlarge it a bit?
