Emotion evocking signatures...can we limit this?
 

What I'm talking about is signatures that are there to state a belief very controversial. One that raises questions of race and creed. I'm speaking specically of a signature that says something like, "Israel needs to kill the Palistinians"

Why why why should that be a signature? That isn't a signature that is a divisive emotionally ladden opinion. In certain contexts that is entirely appropriate but when not said in the context (e.g. "Israel is bombed again" thread) then it has no rational basis.

I know that I could turn off the option to see signatures. But I'm thinking about the hundreds or thousands of other people looking at threads who might take offense to signatures of this nature.

This is the main reason that I turned off sigs in my options. That, and the movie quotes that go on for 15 lines (often longer than the actual post).

Yes, some actual examples would be helpful.

Just off the top of my head, I am reluctant to quell anyone's sig unless it is legitimately offensive.
