A few people have commented on this, but not always with good data on occurence. I'm not all wound up over this, just trying to give good data.

At 10:16 AM EDT, I started a thread on honest spam. At 10:39 AM, I was still the last responder (it had zero posts and a few views). However, the read/unread flag had turned pink implying there were new posts. I had no service interruption, browser closure or anything of that type.

I understand there is some kind of a clock, and after a while it loses track, but this seems a little short.
