How do DVDtalk names get assigned?
Like, how many posts to be a dvdtalk addict, dvdtalk legend, etc.? Can somebody post a list, I'm just curious (

I thought we were gonna be able to customize these soon. Actually, the ones we have are just fine--with the exception of Evangelist, a title I recently received.
I rather be an addict until 3000.

being able to change your title has been addressed a few times in the past..
Im pretty sure it was shot down due to the unnecessary additional load it would bring on the servers

Some other boards have various forums in which different levels have different abilities.
For example, registered posters (as opposed to lurkers), have access to one additional forum reserved just for them to post and READ. Non-posters (i.e. non members) would neither see that forum listed in their list of forums on the forum index page, nor be able to read posts in that forum. Some boards have forums dedicated to just their Senior-most members.
