Don't take this the wrong way, but, you're an Evangelist, been here over a year, and you don't know this? Wow. You must really be in touch with your inner newbie.

I thought we were gonna be able to customize these soon. Actually, the ones we have are just fine--with the exception of Evangelist, a title I recently received. I rather be an addict until 3000.

Shouldn't we also link names to the amount of years a member is active and give that person a star for each year or something?

I think that suggestion represents a conflict of interest.

One small bump ... if it can't be done, I'm thinking I can get over it .

being able to change your title has been addressed a few times in the past..
Im pretty sure it was shot down due to the unnecessary additional load it would bring on the servers

Some other boards have various forums in which different levels have different abilities.

For example, registered posters (as opposed to lurkers), have access to one additional forum reserved just for them to post and READ. Non-posters (i.e. non members) would neither see that forum listed in their list of forums on the forum index page, nor be able to read posts in that forum. Some boards have forums dedicated to just their Senior-most members.

well shoot.. if you have a forum that only registered members can see.. you should make sure to have a BIG note somewhere mentioning it, so that the lurkers know what they are missing
