Glad to hear it now works in netscape. I did a code clean up on it and it was missing a tag, IE is SOOOO much more forgiving :)

Now I got one more beef...

Now that you've made the ads on the homepage bigger and added one more... I need to view my page at full 1024 x 768 to see everything...

Wow Geoff,... are you single handedly trying to raise the standard from 800 x 600 to 1024 x 768!?

Now don't get me wrong, but I'm gonna make asuggestion:

... you could make the bottom ads in their own table, or merge the cells across that row so that there is not a big gap (empty cells) on either side...

That would help...

EDIT: I'm referring to Staff Picks... the six at the bottom...

That's a pain on my end also. Making us track that far across to read the items on the main page is tough. Maybe you could take those six ads out of the main well. Set them up like you do in the newsletter ... that way they don't determine the width of the main column. Preserving readability, while also getting that sixth ad out there.

Sorry about that, forgot to check it in 800x600. I fixed it now (and did some page clean up in the process so it formats even better).

Cool... sorry Geoff, I have a rather large monitor, but being a professor of multimedia design, I have a keen eye for picking things out. You knew exactly what I meant... good job!

Besides, give it a few days. You won't even remember that the images were any other size.
True or false?

I don't think about the size of the ads anymore ... except when this thread reminds me.

What ads?

The ads aren't getting bigger. They're just getting closer!

Yeah, they're out of my mind ... it's just different.

the difference (to me anyway) is that i can now see the pics (dvd covers) much better. i can actually read the titles of the movies from my notebook computer which has a 14" screen.

before, i rarely clicked on the ads out of curiosity. now i find myself clicking more often.
