Could we maybe limit the amount of threads on this horrible event.
I know we need to get our emotions out, I know this is a horrible event...but lately it seems that from the non stop media overload that people are starting to panic over this.
Just a suggestion that maybe the amount of threads on this be limited for a little while til peoples emotions cool down a bit.
I just want to add that I am not trying to devalue the situation, I just think that the overload is just going to escalate peoples already hightened emotions.
Thank you.

I think it's only understandable that the terrorist attacks are going to be the biggest topic of discussion for awhile. I don't see any sign of this topics ending soon being that a counter attack is imminent. In other words, the $hit hasn't even hit the fan yet!

To add to what has been said, it remains open for those who wish to start discussions on other topics to do so.

I think this will self regulate as well - as the country starts caring about other things, so will the Other forum..
At first there was 100% threads on it.. now we are down to 40% or so.
