I don't see how pulling the music threads out of Other will hurt the forum at all. Most music threads sink like a stone in Other, having their own forum will make them more accessible to music lovers. Music joke threads should stay in other for the most part, just like the movie joke threads.

And who cares if Other gets a little less traffic? Personally I don't think it will hurt the traffic at all. I doubt very many members go their just for the music threads. Even if traffic did drop slightly, that would be a help to those of us who can only check in once a day or less.
