Where's that link to delete cookies at????

I keep getting the pop-up to subscribe to the letter even though I've clicked no thanks like a jillion times. I want to try deleting the cookies and starting over. What's the link to that again? Anyone? Anyone?

I would guess that deleting your cookies would cause the newsletter thing to pop-up.

Wouldn't that make sense?

Or is my brain screwing up again?

Right Steve. I think the cookies is what tells you have been here already. Most forums have a link that says "not cookied?"

Sometimes though you need to log out from the main forum page and then log in again to reset the cookies.

If that is not it....I have no idea!

I have to agree with Deftones. There is something wrong with the Newsletter pop-up cookies. I have cleared the cookies several times on both Mac and PC, using both Netscape and IE. Yet the Newsletter pop-up window keeps coming up. It doesn't pop-up every single time I visit the front page, but it does happen quite often.

Perhaps it only occurs after a session times out. Try quitting your browser. Then after 30 minutes, come back, launch your browser, and go to http://www.dvdtalk.com/ I bet the newsletter pop-up will show up.

Hmm...seems true. I went to the main page and it popped up. I don't often leave the forums, so I might not have noticed this recently.

Oh, BTW, this has only been happening since the change to the new forum software version.
