how bout an upscale design something with a short fat font for the letters and very plain, laid out like:
D V D
T A L K
but actually lined up right....now one of you artists can come up with an actual version of it so we can see what it looks like
well apparently it doesnt format right....DVD should be spread out and Talk should be spread out across the bottom to the same width

I guess mine still doesn't click?
belboz's design has quickly become my favorite. What font is that that "talk" is in?

Just cuz a lot of people here probably didn't see the old thread (which was close to a year ago, I think (?)), here are a few different ones that were in there.
This one had a color version too that I can't find right now:
Variations on one of the ones in this thread:
And now for something completey different:

1. Change the V to reflect a slant similar to the Ds, and give up the line angle being the same as the D. This V looks odd in this way.
2. Beef up to ovals like the other one. Make the swelling more pronounced.
3. Change the outline TALK text to Black.
4. Change the oval to black.
5. Send to printers and t-shirt companies, except mods should get special polo shirts.

Thanks, Randy, for some very sound advice. Retaining the one solid color throughout, I thought, was in keeping with the desire to cut down on the printing costs. However, I will most certainly give your ideas a whirl.
Heck with the polos, Randy, I can get you a tailor-made Mod Cape emblazoned with a giant DUD Talk logo for nothing!

I'd like to take another stab at it, but I'm leaving tomorrow for a couple weeks to go on vacation. Hopefully, now that you've helped put this back on the front burner you guys can come up with a final design that Geoff will actually commit to.
About the t-shirts in general, though, I'd just like to voice my strong personal preferences. I like the design on the front to be limited to the breast pocket spot with the bulk of the artwork reserved for the back side. I'd probably buy white, navy, and gray colored shirts. Also, I would much rather pay $16 for a top quality, 100% cotton T that I actually wear as opposed to a $10 crappy T that I'm buying just to have.

Is there anyway, members can purchase these as "Ironing Patches" for themselves to put on any color shirt they like?
The gray one is awesome also, but the aqua blue is lovely.

Why not sell the logos as ironing patches rather than making only one selection title logo in which many would not like, and on top of that, put it on a t-shirt that many would not like either?
