New Contest: Planet 51
The fine folks at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have provide two copies of Planet 51 on DVD that we'll be giving away.
PLANET 51 is an out-of-this-world adventure for both children and adults, the CG animated film features the voice talents of Dwayne Johnson (Race to Witch Mountain), Jessica Biel (TV’s “Seventh Heaven”), Justin Long (Alvin & the Chipmunks 2), Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight), Seann William Scott (American Pie franchise) and John Cleese (Monty Python).
The tables are turned when an astronaut arrives on a distant planet, but he's not alone; he's surrounded by aliens who desperately fear invasion by...aliens. Planet 51 transports the entire family into a whole new world where green aliens are at home and humans are on the run.
The extensive DVD bonus features include both widescreen and full-frame presentations of the feature, extended scenes, a Planet 51 music video montage, the time-based obstacle course game “Run Rover Run!,” and a multi-angle feature which allows users to view a four split-screen panel showing the breakdown of the animation progression process from storyboard, to animatics, to rendering through final animation. In addition, there is the short film “The World of Planet 51,” a clip reel showing the various environments found in the film; as well as two behind-the-scenes featurettes: “Life on Planet 51,” a making-of documentary incorporating interviews with the voice cast, animators, and filmmakers; and “Planetarium - The Voice Stars of Planet 51,” which includes interviews with Justin Long, Jessica Biel and Dwayne Johnson.
The contest: There are a lot of animated films with voices provided by star actors and actresses. Sony has decided to make an animated film of your life... who would you want to provide your voice?
The contest will run until 3/22 and the winners will be chosen at random.
