Are there re-releases coming for 12 Monkeys and Out of Sight as they appear to have been discontinued?

12 monkeys still available everywhere... i just got mine (DTS version) for less than $10 new

I had both 12 Monkeys and Out of Sight in my DDD order and they aren't shipping them due to them being discontinued. I hadn't heard that before so looked around and it appears they have.

If a re-release isn't coming then I guess I will look to replace them elsewhere.

Does anyone know about the 1986 film Crossroads being released on DVD? It stars the karate kid, Ralph Macchio, and is loosely based on the stories and myths surrounding Robert Johnson. It's got some solid guitar playing, and an awesome scene with Steve Vai just going crazy. It's not too bad, the VHS is $18 on Amazon, but I will never even look at VHS again so it's out of the question.

On page 10D of today's USA TODAY, they say, "Columbia Tristar is preparing a Spider Man deluxe Edition for release before Spider Man 2 on July 2."

I just found @ bestbuy.com where they mention the film SEVEN being released on 2/3/2004... obviously it's already out and I was curious if this was a re-release. I did a search for the words seven re-release and se7en and couldn't find any information.

You can't just use Best Buy as a source for dvd movie information - they are clueless corporate honkies. Can you tell I hate them? ;)

Anyway, the Seven release you're asking about is the new single disc version of the movie. Circuit city has it listed for pre-order as well for $15.99. DDD also has it for $13.26.

I'd get the current release if I were you. It's the best you're gonna get for a while.

I believe that Disney's Platinumrelease for the Fall of 2004 is suposed to be Aladdin.

Don't know if it's been OFFICIALLY announced by C/T, but word is that the Panic Room SE is coming in March and that it's a 3-disc set.

Blue Underground also releasing Final Countdown. Single disc releases in FS and WS, and also a 2-disc LE.

Where did you get information about a 2-disc LE for Final Countdown? Didn't see anything about this on Blue Underground's web site.

Several sources have reported it. It's up for pre-order at several websites already as well. It's in the DvdPriceSearch.com database, so you can look it up there to confirm.

Both Deep Discount DVD and SendMeMovies.com list three versions of Final Countdown.

Understood, but asking in the not yet released on DVD thread might yield a greater chance of getting the information you are hoping for as opposed to a re-release thread since it hasn't been released yet.

I'm just incredibly happy that Dawn of the Dead is finally being released again. I would really love to get my hands on the old anniversary edition of it, but it goes for 50+ bucks on ebay maybe more. I wish they would just put out the 3-5 disc out first, because as much as I want a copy of the Dawn of the Dead single disc, I would really love to own the better version of it.
