And please don't forget to vote on the crossover picks if you haven't. There's a couple that could end up winning that also are potential subset picks.
Chad, do you have a compilation of all of the suggestions for the crossover picks?Originally Posted by Chad

I vote for The Witch (2015) and The Final Girls (2015)

Diabolique & Renfield

I vote for Blithe Spirit (1945) because it's the only one I haven't seen before. Looks interesting.
Also voting for Ready or Not. But I'd also be happy to watch Renfield again. Super fun.

I've been busy with family things, and running my business. So, I am only now getting around to checking the thread out. If needed, I am happy to volunteer for a subset pick as well. I'll look for some things tomorrow probably in my down time and drop some suggestions.

Yeah, thanks. You're on the list. That puts us at last year's final volunteer count - 24.Originally Posted by shadokitty

Forgot to say thanks to the last two volunteers as well.
I'll give that aforementioned subset update soon.

Hell, I had never heard of it until a few weeks ago. It's got Rex Harrison, in a similar vibe to The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, which is one of my all time favorites.Originally Posted by jholmes

Suggestion for Breaking the Fourth Wall/Meta- Scream VI , available on Paramount+
#94
Super bummed. I went to pre-order Exorcist 4K. The edition at Amazon and Best Buy are bare bones -- the only special features are 2 commentary tracks and nothing else.
There are 2 cool editions in the UK that list tons of special features, including 6 different documentaries about the movie. One is at Zaavi and one at Amazon UK. But both of those are sold out. (And I guess Zaavi no longer ships to the US anyway).
The special collector's edition (that is sold out) is listed on the Warner Bros UK site: The Exorcist 50th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition with Steelb – Warner Bros. Shop - UK
Anyone want to hazard a guess as to why Warner Bros would put out a special collector's edition with lots of special features in the UK but NOT in the US? I don't care about the posters and lobby cards and all that myself, but I do want all the digital special features.
Also, if you know of anywhere to order one of these, let me know. You can find them on ebay, but they're already going for hundreds of dollars.
FYI, here are the special features on the sold out Zaavi one:
Director's Cut Blu-Ray
One would hope, since it hasn't even been released yet, the special editions will come back in stock.

- Commentary by Director William Friedkin
- 2 Commentaries by Director William Friedkin and Producer/Screenwriter William Peter Blatty
- Introduction by William Friedkin
- Feature-Length 1998 Documentary The Fear of God: The Making of The Exorcist
- Interview Gallery Covering the Topics: The Original Cut, The Final Reckoning and Stairway to Heaven
- Original Ending
- Beyond Comprehension: William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist Documentary
- Talk of the Devil Documentary
One would hope, since it hasn't even been released yet, the special editions will come back in stock.

^Yeah, I missed out as well. It's hard to keep up with all the releases lately.
The Canadian retailer Rought Cut Video is supposed to be getting in more of the Bible version. I think that one's limited to 2000 and was an Amazon UK exclusive.
You can join the waitlist at Diabolik for the UCE. I don't recall Jessie mentioning anything on whether they're getting more, but it's always worth a shot.
And not a bad idea to wishlist it on Orbit DVD and keep an eye on their socials.
Mike from Grindhouse Video on his last Sunday YouTube video said he's not sure if they're getting any.
That's all I got.

A quick subset update...
Anyway, here's the list of subset coverage for every theme. Keep in mind some of them are probably higher, but it's impossible to cross-check them with every list. This is just to give those who have yet to provide picks (or wish to provide more) an idea of what to suggest.
- It's progressing nicely. There's still 6 of you that have yet to give your picks.
- I'll say 8/18 is the day I plan to have the subset list complete.

- I'm gonna unofficially put a kibosh on the volunteering. That said, I'll reserve a couple extra spots just in case.
- I don't think at this point I'll have to ask for more picks from anyone. If that changes I'll let you know by sending a PM.
- And as far as trying to cover a bit of everything - I could use a few more obscure picks (something that might be a discovery for some), something family-friendly and some cheesy flicks. We do have some of the latter but it needs to be spread amongst more people.
