Has anyone been able to find this release? I tried to preorder it and I couldn't and on release day when I tried ordering it was sold out! How can I get my hands on this without paying eBay prices? Will there be a non limited edition release?

Yes, Paramount will reissue a normal, non-SteelBook edition in a month or two. I suspect it's more a distribution problem at the moment and it wouldn't surprise me if more copies start showing up somewhere. Though Amazon has stopped taking orders for the SteelBook.
