Looney Tunes

I have the Looney Tunes volumes 1-6 Golden
Collections. Are there any other Looney Tunes on dvd (or blu ray) that have been released that are not on these 6 collections?

Re: Looney Tunes

You should check out the Looney Tunes wiki for details but yes, there are cartoons on the Superstars discs and on the Blu-ray sets that are not in the 6 Golden Collection sets. I don't know if the cartoons included in the special features on Warner DVDs are included in the Golden Collection sets, but you can check the link to find out.

Re: Looney Tunes

I hope that you've got some time; the Golden Collections have collected a little less than half of the Warner Brothers cartoons that were released to theaters. Here's a list of everything from Wikipedia; you'll have to click on each decade in the "Contents" section to the get the complete chronological listing of the shorts and where to find them on disc.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Looney...es_filmography

Good luck!

Re: Looney Tunes

Thank you! That link is very helpful.

Is there a list somewhere of unreleased episodes?

Too bad they don't release all of these in some way to collect them all with duplicates and confusion!

Re: Looney Tunes

I haven't found a list like that--it would certainly be helpful, though.

One thing you can do is scour YouTube and Archive.org for cartoons; most, if not all, of the early cartoons that are now in the public domain are on one or both of those sites, often in multiple, widely-varying-in-quality uploads. I've downloaded a lot of them and burned them to DVDs to make my own chronological collection.

Re: Looney Tunes

I think they are more or less done releasing them on DVD and BD, so the unreleased ones will be confined to streaming platforms. HBO MAX carries some that haven't been released elsewhere.

Re: Looney Tunes

So when I go to archive.org I see what appears to be every episode through 1969 available for download? How & why is that?
