I believe that it was Heat. I had it on VHS and was stoked to replace it. Great soundtrack too on CD.

This is the first one I remember buying. It was $35 at Media Play, and I was debating spending that much. But at the time, special features were a hot new thing. And all those commentary tracks and documentaries convinced me to buy it.

I'm sure I owned at least 30-40 DVDs before this one. I got a few free with my DVD Player. So those were my first, although I don't remember the titles. I probably owned Scream, Starship Troopers, Twister, and LA Confidential before TND.
