What is this black strip inside blu ray case?
There is a black strip that is inside my blu ray case stuck on with adhesive. It has a small picture of a human hand that is in the middle of a target, kinda giving a message of not to touch it or something...Is this some sort of security strip? It’s really weird for it to be inside the case when you open it to get out the disc. Is it safe for me to take this black strip thing out?

It's a magnetized security tag. You can just peel it off if you want but it might leave behind a sticky residue.

Those have been around for literally decades. They put them in the cases now so shoplifters can't easily rip them off the package to avoid the alarms.
