When I saw the banner, I figured there must be some reason it was in there so much! By the time I caught up on this thread, it made sense. Looking forward to revisiting this one!

I was going to suggest this! Watched it for the first time last year and enjoyed it much more than I had expected! Hope this is selected, and excited to watch again.

Hereditary was also great, and I am looking forward to the discussion on that!

For the subset, I'm going to throw out the strange little film Dr. Caligari (1989). It is available on YouTube. I know it would fit as a cheesy 80s film or mad scientist. Maybe it could fit with atmospheric; it's definitely a trip.

This odd title is the absolute favorite film of a friend of mine. It's one of those love it or hate it movies, but my friend would be really psyched if it were picked.
