Possible Checklist anniversaries:
Child's Play and Chucky turn 30 Halloween turns 40 which also makes its sequel H20, 20 years old this year. Or for a more personal checklist item, maybe participants can watch a movie released the year they were born. Have you guys ever had William Shatner as an option on the actor's part of the checklist? I've been watching Chuck Dowling's 31 Days of Horror on youtube (only just finished Season 3) and there have been quite a few Shatner films reviewed. On a side note I am very much enjoying his reviews. |

Evelyn Ankers was born 100 years ago; she's been on the checklist in the past for the Universal horror films she did in the '40s. (But we did have Forrest Ackerman's 100th bday on the anniversary list in 2016.) - 1978 (40th): Halloween debuted -- and there's a new one coming out this October that's a direct sequel to the original. (Also, Jamie Lee Curtis was born in 1958, and John Carpenter in 1948.) - 1988 (30th): MST3K debuted. |

Hey, Chad. You've said we're ahead of schedule. What *is* the target date for giving us the Subset list? And if we hit that date and we're still waiting on one person to give recs for one theme night, can you give us the other 30 titles?
It would be awesome to have time to order some new discs and to figure out what else I'm watching to sync with the checklist before the challenge starts. I'll be travelling some during the month, so I'll need to plan carefully. |

Great list! There are a handful that I’ve been meaning to watch this season. My Son of Dracula and Cujo Blu-ray Discs have remained unplayed since their own purchase date and I’ve never seen all of Maximum Overdrive. Hopefully this season will be different.

Great list, very excited. I hope people don't mind that my pick Who Can Kill a Child? was remade as Come Out and Play, which was one of our subset picks a few years ago (2013?). I thought it'd be fun to go back and watch the original this year, and Mondo Macabro just put it out on Blu-ray.
