It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like The 12th Annual Holiday Challenge (11/20 - 1/1)

That's quite a feat. I recall Christmas with the Kranks having its moments, A Christmas Story 2 being totally forgettable with none of the charm of the original and Christmas Vacation 2 being the most painful, and bad, sequel I've ever seen.

I still have some annual watches to pick off, plus some Hallmark movies, which now earn double credit!

I only own a handful of the gazillion Hallmark Christmas films, but luckily one of them is It's Christmas, Carol. Enjoying this for Carrie Fisher right now.

I'm about done. I'm 'cutting the cord' on my cable TV service tomorrow, and there are plenty of other things I want to watch on the streaming services right now besides more holiday movies.

I guess the Rose Parade is being held on the 2nd this year, since New Year's is on a Sunday. Which is a shame, because it means that I can't count it for this Challenge.

Just watched Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever. It was awful.
But seriously, it was kind of cute. It definitely breaks the fourth wall, with Grumpy Cat telling the story and making up scenes. You can also tell it was fairly low budget. The Grumpy Cat "stunt doubles" were very unrealistic. I don't think they really even tried to make them look alive. I wouldn't say this is something I will watch every year, but for the 4 bucks I paid, I don't feel like I was over charged either. If you're a fan of Grumpy Cat, you'll probably enjoy it, just a little.

I finished up my list. I just barely passed 100 total with around 75 movies and 25 TV shows/specials.
I was planning to watch a lot more. But I got an Xbox One in early December. And I spent most of the month playing that instead of watching movies.
I still have a few Hallmark movies on my DVR. I might try to watch those.

Happy New Year!! I plan to watch Pee Wee's Playhouse Christmas Special before the Challenge ends. I slept through Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Eve, as our family had a big day today. My sister came with her children, so we had a second Christmas today.

I broke open my prize from the Comedy Challenge of Pee-Wee's Playhouse Christmas Special today and just finished it. You were right LJG. It was really good. It really brought back memories of my watching the show every Saturday morning when I was a kid. Thank you again Goldenwheels and Hamilton Books. And another thank you to David.

shadokitty, glad you enjoyed Peewee! I find that it definitely has a fair amount of rewatchability as well.
Getting a few last holiday watches in and deleted off my DVR before the challenge ends. I watched Crown for Christmas and The Great British Baking Show: Christmas Masterclass. Completely unintentionally, those two actually share a link-Rupert Penry-Jones, who must be a British actor, is in both of them. He stars in the movie as the King and is the narrator for the baking show.
