Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

If you're a masochist, or just a completist who has to watch every movie in a series, here it is on YouTube.

Vudu just posted a $6.66 HDX sale on some new release Horror flicks. Here's some of the titles:

The Conjuring 2
The Purge: Election Year
10 Cloverfield Lane
Lights Out
The Other Side of the Door
Clown
Neon Demon
Rob Zombie's 31
Green Room
The Witch
Phantasm: Ravager
The Ones Below
Bone Tomahawk

http://www.vudu.com/movies/#featured...se-Horror-Sale

Neon Demon includes the Unrated version and an Audio Commentary version.

Rob Zombie's new film 31 gets mixed reviews, but I thought it was a fun movie.

I'm still debating on Tell Me How I Die, Viral, Within, The Mind's Eye, and The Other Ones.

For the final theme movie, I watched Halloween III: Season Of The Witch. I know opinions are divided on this movie, but I've always enjoyed it.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 12th Annual October Horror Movie Challenge (Oct 1-31) Pt

Part of the reason I love horror films is because I easily get lost in them and get genuinely scared. Most films have me pulling the sheets up near my eyes or the hair on the back of the neck tingling at least once. And occasionally, I get the type of fear where I'm almost paralyzed for a few minutes, afraid that the killer or monster is about to jump out from behind the curtains or wherever.

Had few of those moments this year, but had a doozy last night. Went to the theater for a near midnight showing of Oiuja: Origin of Evil. Not a great or overly original film, but it had the type of ghostly demonic scares and effects that really affect me. Luckily I had a few people in the theater with me, or I would have been even more pathetically afraid throughout the film.

Leaving the theater was creepy. About one am, no one around, and the shopping center complex had the nerve to be softly playing the Halloween theme music over their speaker system. I checked my backseat before getting in the car, refused to look in the rear view mirror the whole drive home, and expected my wife to have possessed eyes as I walked into the bedroom.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 12th Annual October Horror Movie Challenge (Oct 1-31) Pt

Congratulations Bob! Also, awesome costume Spiderbite!

I took the day off today, but unfortunately will have my third worst total count.

I watched Halloween: The Curse of Michael Meyers last night. It was a FTV, so I figured I should check out the theatrical cut first, and it definitely seemed incredibly chopped up. I'm interested in seeing The Producer's Cut soon to compare (and see if it gets any better!)

What are people's plans for their watchlist today? This evening, I'll have Trick 'r Treat on the rotation, and maybe House on Haunted Hill (1959), but no set plan for the rest of the day.

Planning on finishing my Halloween series marathon, definitely going to get Trick 'r Treat and Night of the Demons in as well, but going to wing the rest. Pulling an all-nighter if I can muster it. My favorite movie-watching day of the year!

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 12th Annual October Horror Movie Challenge (Oct 1-31) Pt

Theme nights are now complete with my watch of Halloween H20. I remember seeing it at the theater and not really liking it. Now, I find it to be a serviceable sequel. Probably my favorite moment was that scene between Jamie Lee Curtis and Janet Leigh. Good nod to horror fans.

Now to start getting ready for my job interview. I'm sitting at 131, possible striking distance of my best mark.

Congrats to Bob. I'm going to win one of those prize packages one of these days!

And great costume!

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 12th Annual October Horror Movie Challenge (Oct 1-31) Pt

Watched a couple rentals on Saturday night.

Triangle was a mind-bending thriller starring Melissa George, who I like. It definitely made me think, but I'm not sure it was totally satisfying. I probably won't have time for a rewatch, but I think it would be rewarding.

The Witch: I really liked the setting and mood, but it was really slow to develop, and the language was hard to understand from certain characters. Ultimately I thought it was a good watch, but a little disappointing after I'd heard a lot about it.

I first saw Blue Velvet in London at a midnight showing. Taking the bus home afterward was a bit unsettling.

I just plan to wing it today. Finished the theme night requirements when I woke up, so now it's just what I want to watch. Tonight will probably be a mixture of horror and comedy, some of which might be double credit viewing.

I'll be watching at least two from this list:

Ernest Scared Stupid (1991)
Scooby-Doo! and the Goblin King (2008)
Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983)

Though it's always possible something else may pique my interest.

I'm planning on finishing up with Halloween II followed by Trick 'r Treat. Those 2 titles will have me at 100 for the month. I didn't think I could do it!

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 12th Annual October Horror Movie Challenge (Oct 1-31) Pt

I'm thinking today will be all comedy/horror titles. I woke up a bit early this morning and started Zombie Dearest (what I've seen so far is truly weird/odd). I'll finish it when I get home. I'll have to pick something "safe" (i.e. a film my wife won't complain about) and sit with her helping hand out candy to the Trig-or-Treaters
Spoiler:

and will finish the evening with a couple of Vincent Price films from the "Vincen Price Collection II" BR set - The Comedy of Terrors and The Raven - which will "wrap up" viewing the titles in that set. That should pretty much get me up to, if not a bit past, "bedtime" and score double entries for the Comedy Challenge.
