Will Blu-Ray 3D work on my system?
I have a Blu-Ray player and want to purchase Vincent Price's House Of Wax. It is in 3D and my player is not but looks like the only way I can get it on BR.

There's also a 2D option on the disc; if your player isn't a 3D model, the disc will automatically default to the 2D when you try to play it.
So: yes, the disc will play on your player, but you won't get the 3D effect.

I have a friend with a 3D Blu-ray player, 3D TV and plays their 3D discs using Real-D glasses from the movie theatre.
I was under the impression you required those expensive 3D battery-operated glasses with the 30fps shutters but the Real-D glasses actually worked really well.
I'm not sure if this is the best method of watching 3D movies but it does work.
As with all 3D presentations, the 3D glasses always dilute the colors which makes me just want to go back to the regular 2D versions anyway.

That's why you're supposed to have different color settings for 3D, as well as brightness and contrast. The TV should automatically switch to them.
