The Furies, Criterion edition.

I’m usually not a big fan of westerns but a good story is a good story. All throughout I kept thinking “this drama is almost Shakespearean in tone” and then I look in the booklet and it’s all “the director always wanted to do King Lear as a western…”

Watched Hours III, IV, V, and VI this evening. Not bad, as far as religious dramas go. Better and less preachy than the Left Behind series, needs a follow up though.
