Finished Frank Herbert's Dune (Miniseries, from the Special Edition Director's Cut) while we ate dinner earlier and this evening, started watching Frank Herbert's Children of Dune (Miniseries), we'll watch more tomorrow.

I'd owned them for some time before taking the first of those on holiday last year for early evening viewing before going to eat or if it rained and we were at the apartment rather than travelling. I can't quite remember whether we ever watched the second miniseries but the first one whiled away a few hours.

Last DVD I saw was a boxed set of a BBC comedy from 2004, "The Smoking Room", which proved excellent. I saw most of the episodes when they were broadcast but had forgotten quite how good the show was! One of the regulars in it is Webb from Peep Show.

You should watch it once again, then follow it up with the finale. It's worth a watch if you have the time.

For us, it's taking longer than expected to watch Children of Dune but we managed to get a start on Disc 2 this evening. With luck we'll finish it tomorrow night.
